We commit to a world where justice, peace, love, and SOUL replace hatred, exploitation, and violence.

We stand in solidarity with The Beloved Community – the vision of Dr. King in which all people share in the wealth of the earth.

The Ground We Stand On

Policy alone does not create change. Attempts to create shared abundance through social change movements continue to be thwarted.

Technology alone also does not create change. As an example, the vision of the Internet was to create a space for cooperation, individual expression, and entrepreneurship.

Instead what we see today is widespread income inequality, mass incarceration and the manipulation of democracy.

Now is the time for us to combine technology, policy and SOUL in order to bring about the Future – where shared wealth is a reality and peace is widespread.

The Pledge

  • I recognize the humanity of the multitudes who are oppressed, persecuted, incarcerated and in struggle.
  • I declare that violence, poverty, racism, sexism, incarceration, surveillance, militarism and environmental destruction cannot persist.
  • I recognize that reparations and atonement are part of a needed healing process for shared humanity.
  • I pursue a world of freedom, SOUL and fulfillment for all.
  • I make change through nonviolence and radical love for all and for our sacred planet.
  • I commit to the inspired change needed to create a more humanely just and coherent future.
  • I commit to becoming aware of those forces that seek to undermine the Beloved Community.
  • I will use (and build) only technology which is aligned with this pledge.

Take the Pledge
